OJO, a company known for its philanthropic and environmental sentiments proceeded to donate packages of dry food to the Nicosia Dog Shelter on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Once again, it proved that its golden rule that you find posted on any of its stores is not just a phrase but, a central idea and philosophy, which governs the entire OJO company.
The Nicosia Dog Shelter currently accommodates 90 stray dogs and dozens of others who are temporarily accommodated in volunteer homes, until the time of their adoption. It is worth noting that the shelter is mainly maintained by volunteers and donations from animal lovers.
The purpose of this action, in addition to offering food to help feed our four-legged friends, is also to transmit the message to our society that we must take care, but above all, respect all animal souls.
The head of the shelter, Ms. Vicky Nikolaou, said that "For us, actions like that of OJO give us immense joy and help, as thanks to such actions we manage to keep our shelter in operation and host these souls, until at the time of their adoption".
OJO is committed to always being on the side of both animals and our fellow humans, with the aim of improving the quality of life of both and our society in general.
